Before my baby started to have solids I decided to buy the babypote thinking of how useful would it be to carry the fruit compote when we are not home. I thought it would be great avoiding using a spoon and letting the child having the amount of compote she wishes. When I received it I read the instructions carefully and they said this can't be used for children under 12 months. My baby is now 7 months old and starting to have solids, I will use the babypote to carry the compote but I will have to use a spoon and feed her with the spoon. I still think that the Babypote is useful but it is not as great as I thought.
I have read at several web pages that it can be used for children above 6 months under adult's supervision but it is not what the maker recommends.
